This site was designed to assist with research into the ancestry of my grandparents – William F. MCGUIRE, Anna LEHOULLIER McGuire, Warren AUSTIN, and Ora PASBACH Austin. There are additional sections that deal with specific projects: Ora PASABACH’s mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), Warren AUSTIN’s Y-chromosome DNA (Y-DNA) and a study identifying PASBACH emigrants into the USA with the help of researchers in Germany.
You are welcome to explore this website. You will find our pedigree chart in the upper left labeled “FAMILY Tree.” If you want to search for surnames directly this can be done in the right column using the link “SURNAMES” under the Search box. Neither of these require a password. The three other projects can be accessed by clicking on their links below the "FEATURES" tab in the right column. Because two of these contain DNA testing results and the third has data from other families they are password protected and not open to the public. If you believe you belong in one of these projects please send an email by using the “CONTACT US” link in the upper right of this home page.
NOTES: This effort began on June 22 Jun 2016, and is a “work in progress.” Some of the background information is incomplete, especially the transfer of notes, photos and sources. In some cases there may be typos, different spellings of names and locations and a few duplicate individuals who need to be linked to a single identity. The structure of the site will also see lots of attention in the next few months. It is hoped that by yearend 2016 all of that will be completed. If you find any errors please send us a note.
Most of the entries in this genealogy have come from original sources or secondary records from respected family histories at major repositories. The latter may also have occasional mistakes. Online family trees were not used as a source for these entries.
