  Comments from Marion Austin McGuire 26 Apr 2007: Ora worked in a candy factory in RI and for Foote's Ice Cream parlor in Wallingford. Marion did not remember her working there so it was before she was born or thereabouts. Marion not sure why Warren & Ora moved to Wallingford but suspects it was related to work and Warren getting a job at International Silver Company. (Son Raymond worked at Wallace Silversmiths).Marion doesn't remember her grandfather Charles A. Pasbach but has a picture of her as a baby on his lap. He died 2 years/10 months after she was born. Also has pictures of him in Wash. DC with Lois. Marion remembers Lois Barlow and her Aunt Carolyn visiting CT at time of Ora's funeral. Another time Lois B. came and both of them walked to the movies but they were so young that her older brother Ray had to accompany them. He refused to walk alongside of the two girls. She also remembered Earl McCallum, Jr. and Earl Pasbach coming to her house on Whilllesely Ave (when she was in her 60's & beyond). Marion's father would drive them to visit his or Ora's "cousins" at Point Judith, RI in the summer. She has old pictures of that time. Doesn't remember brother Glen being there but definitely Charles and maybe Ray were there so it was when she was young (late 1920's or 1930's). She didn't remember "who" they visited there but one child there was named Lily and there was also a boy. (Maybe chiildren of another of Franz & Christine Pasbach kids - Ora's siblings). Also remembers visiting Lois Barlow Jagdmann at their camp at Piney Point and Lois taking her to see the U.S. Congress & other sites in the Capitol. It seems that at least 3 sisters moved to Wash DC. they were Marion (nevcer married), Jennie and Carrie. Jennie and Carrie lived close to each other as Marion recalls. She believes that her Aunt Marion worked for the govermment in some capacity. Last note from Lois B. (as of 26 Apr 07 was a card sent in March with a short note attached. Marion remembers that her father died after chest discomfort put him in the hospital. He had recovered, called it indigestion and was being discharged when he died. Her mother died of a heart attack on 21 Aug 1965, while looking out the window at a bird that Marion's brother-in-law Stanley had given her (and they put in a tree outside). Marion's brother Charles died at about 55 yrs old, Ray died after retirement and lived a sedentary life. Not sure what was cause of death of Warren, Jr. and his son Charles (44 yrs old)
